Last week of SUmmer reading ... Non-fiction time!

So between August 15-21 you can read all things non-fiction ... also known as "real" things:
000 Generalities
100 Philosophy & psychology
200 Religion
300 Social sciences
400 Language
500 Natural sciences & mathematics
600 Technology (Applied sciences)
700 The arts
800 Literature & rhetoric
900 Geography & history

I put "real" in quotations though because not everything in non-fiction is really real... unicorns (398.245), scary stories (398.2), comic books (741.5) poetry (811) ... but many of the non-fiction books are real: dinosaurs (567.9), cats (599.7), fire trucks (628.9), ice skating (796.9).

Curious as to what your favorite topic falls under? Just ask and we can find something for you!

Week five: Graphic novels

August 8-14 is GRAPHIC NOVELS
I love comic books and manga (Japanese comic books, ). Some of my favorites:
Anything written by Raina Telemeiger (especially Guts)
Fruits Basket series by Natsuki Takaya (for teens... gushy romance!)
Chi's Sweet Home by Kanata Konami (about a cat who is SO adorable!)

What are your favorite graphic novels/manga?

Week 4 is all about audio books

An audio book reader can make or break a book. Some readers that are incredible are: Tim Curry (Series of Unfortunate Events) Jim Dale (Harry Potter) and David Tennant (How to Train Your Dragon). Want more suggestions? Check out this article from Book Riot's website.
Don't have a cd player anymore? Try out Libby, the library's ebook and e-audiobook app! Google Play Store app and Apple App Store.
